Video collection
Flying Petito Sisters Video Store has been providing diverse home entertainment choices to the visitors and residents of Crested Butte since 1999. In the past we have built our reputation on a solid collection of films from obscure cult classics to the latest new releases. Today the home entertainment industry is definitely in transition. As of early 2006, new releases are only coming out in the DVD format and Flying Petito Sisters Video Store gets a good selection of new release DVDs each week. To accommodate our customers, since many Crested Butte rental properties still have VCRs, we also have on hand many older movies in the VHS format. As the demand for VHS diminishes we are transitioning formats and working hard to obtain many of your favorite classic titles on DVD.

A very short history of the store and our unusual name
Our name is a play on words originating from the 70s rock band “The Flying Burrito Brothers.” Owner, Bonnie Petito Chlipala and her sisters Lynda and Cindy moved to Crested Butte in the 1970s and were often referred to as “The Flying Petito Sisters.” Our apologies to fans of Gram Parsons.
